This christian history of the bible in the form of a catechism was written by Eusebius Pagit ( or Pagett ) ; Cranford St Andrew (Northamptonshire) 1551- London 1617, first published in English in 1613. This French edition contains an anonymous preface ( Jean Louis de Waldkirch) dated Genève 1 aout 1671. The first French edition was published in 1671 in Geneva. In 1672 followed another two editions; Charenton and SAUMUR (our copy). Rare catechism with protestant tendencies. Of the Geneva edition no complete copy is known ( OCLC PPN 320312720). This Saumur edition is only listed in 1 Swiss library (situation Jan. 2014). .
